I run along the riverside
deep in a valley
far from the cities
where I can stride

here the sense that I belong
is strong I feel there's something wrong
in the lands where nature is ignored
life turns vapid and poor

Water flows through the mountain beds
enriching the lands
creating landscapes that feed the eye
a delight of colors and bright lights

I will follow this current
respecting what surrounds
harvesting rich grounds
enchanted by peaceful sounds
there where I might find peace in this life

I ran away from a city
tormented by disease
liberties seized
an everlasting mispleasing disarray
